The multilayered nature of life fascinates me, and each person interprets it differently. In this painting, one person may see a figure, another a flower, while someone else is drawn to the color composition itself. In the same way, everyone looks at life through a different lens.
 
Painting this piece invited me to explore my own personal “layers” — sometimes accompanied by music, sometimes in prayer, and at other times in the complete silence of the studio.
